“Maternity at the Red Curtain”

Pablo Picasso maintained a very private collection consisting of his own important Picasso paintings throughout his lifetime. This collection of masterpiece artworks was directly inherited by Marina Picasso, his granddaughter. These works were perfectly captured and executed in lithography.

“Maternite au Rideau Rouge,” 1922, is one of the artist’s most important paintings of the 1920’s period. Painted in the much sought-after realistic style of Picasso’s early period, we clearly see Picasso’s genius shining through in his homage to the classical theme of mother and child. This lithographed is based on the original painting.

Each of the 500 limited edition lithographs is numbered and hand-signed by Marina Picasso and is stamped with the embossed seal of the estate and the chromist. Marina Picasso personally authorized and supervised the creation of the lithographs in this collection.

Certificate of Authenticity included.
