Belonging to the generation known as La Jeune Peinture, Michel de Gallard was one of the greatest landscape painters of his time. Presented at the Galerie de la Présidence since 1971, he seduces collectors and enthusiasts with his striking views of the city or the French countryside with a very personal organization of plans and volumes, and sometimes a complex construction led by a clever game of architecture. We have the feeling of an eternal France where light seems to emerge from the depths of the earth.
