Jean-Baptiste Armand Guillaumin was one of the original members of the group of artists who started Impressionism.  In his art Guillaumin chronicled Impressionist developments—from his early still lifes in the style of Édouard Manet to brilliantly colored late works in the style of Claude Monet.
